If your superweapon cannot deliver damage output measured in at least megatons per second, your so-called “superweapons” are inadequately super. 4.184x10^15 joules per second, minimum. I think that’s Petawatts.

That is a lot. May I suggest a modest mirror complex adjacent to each of the portals, and a smaller and nominally less ravening beam of actinically lambent flame reflected through whichever of those is most convenient? Shifts the star less.
