Gentles all, for those of you who liked the tunnel carrier I described a while back, I have gone forth and struggled manfully with image-generation models to bring you a fully-realized rendering of the _Daiségai_ at sea, somewhere outside the Great Bay on her shakedown cruise: ![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/eldraeverse/original/1X/bf1ddf278708965a5f103c13e9b1d3e42adbfa4c.jpeg) _Pray pardon the Roman alphabet for her name, used solely for the purposes of illustration._ And since it is well known that all Imperial warships since the advent of artificial intelligences adopt _kanmusume_ avatars (and just giggle when asked about this, but really, who's going to argue with a _warship_ about their self-image), behold our practitioner of the noble art of aviation archery at work: ![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/eldraeverse/original/1X/6f607e19f37a71978ec56a3f45253957f4d63491.jpeg) (Please don't count the number of points on the flag's star. That's the one thing I simply _could not_ get gpt-image-2.5-flare to draw consistently.) * * * This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at [https://eldraeverse.com/2026/10/12/daisegei/](https://eldraeverse.com/2026/10/12/daisegei/) ---
