Who actually helms Ring Dynamics and makes it run? I know that Imogen Andracanth created their entire IP, but she seems content to stay as VP Research and leave management of the company to someone else.
She recruited a plutarch uncle and some cousins to take care of the details of the business and other “boring stuff”. Which isn’t to say that she isn’t ultimately in control of the corporation - a very large shareholding takes care of that, along with some privileges written into the corporate charter - but when it comes down to it, she cares vastly more about metric physics than beancounting.
