> So I've been reading things on SpaceBattles for a while now, and uploading this story on AO3, and only now got around to uploading it here. The first chapters are somewhat short, but once I hit my stride things start flowing better.

I know exactly three (and a half) stories that cross over Worm with Sufficiently Fun Hard Sci-Fi stories., and one of them is by ShaperV and didn’t go well beyond character punting resurrection egg into asteroid belt, for additional security.

This one has a Taylor re-sleeved into space forklift. Spider-themed and with aftermarket additions. She tries to do good with her incredible open-source library for her fabricator and with her armored, rocket-propelled arachnoid frame with active camouflage and fun package of sensors.

I second this recommendation - I’ve read it and it’s a fun fic.

I am curious, though - what’re the other two stories in this genre you know of?

There’s one Alistair wrote. There’s The Visitor on Questionable Questing, about five chapters of a crossover between Aliceverse and Worm (Aliceverse is “Perilous Waif” on Amazon, plus half of Merciful Troubleshooter on QQ/Patreon plus two quests in different iteration of same universe. Best described as Hard Sci-Fi with Momentum Exchange and Matryoshka Hyperspace with same laws of physics but smaller in volume) plus some snippets in Worm ideas that are… near, but not the same. And I don’t remember them well.
