In the Things Eldrae Would Definitely Not Appreciate thread, you imagined a justice ordering the bodies of two entropic nature-destroyers to be used as fertilizer. Reading this, I suppose that would be done after the firing-squad (a body isn’t much use as fertilizer after a plasma bath). How common are these sorts of mocking / ironic punishments?

Not common, but hardly unknown. It depends on how appropriate it would be, how educational the justice thinks it would be, and how bilious he happens to be feeling at the time.

Also, how recently he’s watched The Mikado:

A little irony helps the medicine go down, and all.
