Being super cereal here, guys

So, as literally everyone knows, rate of change of velocity is called acceleration.

And as those of us who own 3D printers, are machinists, design roller-coasters, or otherwise do engineering things with it know, rate of change of acceleration is called jerk.

Some may even be aware that the third derivative, the rate of change of jerk, is called snap. So far, all for good and logical reasons.

That the fourth and fifth derivatives of velocity are called crackle and pop, as I learned today, on the other hand, is merely proof that there is no goddamn field of science that can escape the pun.
