First: a quick reminder prompted by this: the copies of the posts that appear at the top of comment threads here are not reliable copies. They work by taking the HTML that appears on the original site out of context, abstracting any non-Discourse-compatible formatting, and hoping that nothing screws up. They’re really only there as an aide-memoire for commenters; please read on the original site to get the formatting intended.
(Yes, I can file support issues about formatting issues, but I am one small free customer and fixing this for all cases is a technically hard problem. You will never see perfection here.)
Second: that the WordPress plugin created and listed a topic here for every post is an implementation detail. Normal Discourse embedding does not do that: while it creates the topic, it isn’t listed (and is thus invisible except to search) until someone posts to it or I list it manually. Which I will try to do for new stuff, but it’s me.
If you wondered why I kept harping on not using this site to get your new 'verse posts fix all these years, this is why. There’s an RSS feed and a free e-mail subscription option (and, of course, Patreon and my social media feeds, gordelpya); please use one of those if you can.
Third: Discourse just launched experimental features for AI-powered search and thread summarization, so I turned those on because what the hell. You have probably noticed the buttons, so enjoy if you want to, and just don’t click on 'em if you don’t.
